It being my birthday weekend plus the whole end of month payday vibes I’m feeling pretty hella spendy (for now and then I’ll be bread-lining it for the following four weeks)…

I’m in dire need of a black going-out bag, and am contemplating the purchase of this Rebecca Minkoff beauty which is currently half price on The Outnet… Should I purchase, or should I get a less statement-esque bag? This is my problem – I have many, many bags…But the vast majority are peacock pieces(!), and I subsequently urgently require a plain black goes-with-everything/not too big handbag. Is this fringe-ness fit for purpose?

Now, not that I in any way need more perfume, but I am obsessed with Nirvana Black (Elizabeth and James)…

And so a Sephora haul has to be done. Not wanting to invest in a bottle of it sans first smelling the scent, I ordered the roller ball version via a  Sephora Favourites and it’s incredibly wow. Like the Olsens, Nirvana Black is EVERYTHING – rich, mysterious, androgynous, addictive, distinctive. I need the ability to spritz the magic potion all over, rather than just rolling with the roller ball!!

HolyMotherOfGod, having just scanned Sephora for the current price, I have discovered the scent is now available as a DRY SHAMPOO! I’m honestly so happy I could cry. (I’m also very hungover.) God Bless Mary Kate and Ashley. This has made my birthday life. Obviously I’m adding it to my not-so-much-wish-list-as-a-it’s-happening list! Actually, have any of you guys tried Nirvana White? It also sounds amazing – all peony and musk…

Why must smell-ivision not be a thing?

Elsewhere, I’m on the prowl for the perfect black ankle boot. I thought the quest was complete with last year’s Steve Madden purchase, but they’re beyond painful for a chunky/not THAT high heel. The search continues. I quite like this Kurt Greiger pair…

Elsewhere, mustard is one of my current favourite clothes colours. It’s one of those magical shades that suit everyone, whether blonde or brunette. I’m loving this H&M lace dress… It’s only bleedin’ stunning. I was in the (how amazing?!) College Green H&M branch a mere few hours ago but this little beauty had yet to hit the shelves. At €30 I’ll be snapping it up quick smart!

Wedding outfits are forever on my mind lately, as I feel there’s always one around the corner (I feel this way because there always is!).

I HATE shopping for such outfits – Any dress I like is always over my budget/wrong size/cream/non-flattering… How and ever I’m quite liking this Asos pencil dress, which provided I lose fifty million stone could very well do the trick.

I’m also loving this Asos skirt, which is quite possibly the prettiest of them all. I can definitely envisage myself throwing some shapes come midnight in this full skirt!Make up wise, I’m trying to ignore all the latest launches. I.CAN’T.JUSTIFY.ANY.MORE.SPENDING…

Or can I?! Fret not, I can – I’m ordering the Becca X Jaclyn Hill Shimmering Skin Highlighter; Simply because of the hype. Also I love a good highlighter and Jaclyn Hill is the most glittery disco ball of them all, so it can’t not be a productive purchase.

Which leaves us with skincare. Again, I need for absolutely sweet eff all in this regard.

BUT I was swanning around Space NK earlier, and I did accidentally fall in love with (everything, but mainly) the Algenist Regenerative Anti-Aging Moisturiser. I’m currently obsessed with the Algenist Complete Eye Renewal Balm, (which I harped on about in my July favourites), and this moisturiser feels/sounds right up my street.

PS: Keep it on the down low, but I also want a minimum of one of everything of the Carolyn Donnelly for Dunnes homeware collection. Be still my beating heart! Is this what happens when you hit 28?! I’m not even embarrassed, I’m strung out on the stuff. My latest purchase was one of the tablecloths for my dining table, and it pleases me greatly. Truth be told I actually had to purchase it online… Although I am a bit embarrassed about that part. It was just a ‘click and collect’ job though, I swear!
