Without wanting to sound totally geriatric, how has October come to an end? SRSLY people, I had planned on saving loadsa money and losing loads weight by this time of the year. Fack. Scabby, starvation November it is.

At the start of October I  started (re-)taking the supplement Maxi Hair Plus, and the difference to my mane is incred. (You can read my Hairfinity comparison with this hair supplement here.) If you’ve difficulty swallowing tablets then these are definitely not for you – The individual tablets are bloody huge, and a single daily dose is four of ’em together…  But if you can bare the thought of that and you’re looking for longer locks then present yo’self with these bad boys. I’ve received so many compliments* on my hair in the past week or two, and I’m putting it down to Maxi Hair Plus. My hair, whilst always thick tends to not grow past a certain length (hi bleach damage hi heat styling). Thanks to a couple of weeks taking these I’ve already noticed my gruaig inching (every so slowly – let’s not get too carried away) downwards.

*(well like maybe five – but five more than usual)

My drugstore go-to this month has been Soap and Glory’s Glow All Out which I’ve been using as a a luminising setting powder. I’m not a matte powder finish kinda gal so this is the perfect alternative to setting my base. Love! Browse my full review on this little gem here.

Whilst on the more feeling spendy side of life, I’ve been using my Chanel Ecriture eyeliner daily in October. My day-to-day make up is generally pretty low key, but I rarely skip liquid liner on my top lid. And this Chanel felt-tipped liner is pretty gorgeous. It’s blacker than black, dries quickly, doesn’t smudge and the nib is extremely precise – Making the application fool proof. It’s pricey but it’s love.

One last cosmetic adoration this month has been my Becca Champagne Pop highlighter – All hail Jaclyn Hill for creating such a beautiful powder. It’s definitely not for the faint hearted – It’s pretty easy to go glitterbomb overboard, but yolo.

Skincare wise I’ve been troweling on the face masks recently (as always). I LOVE face masks – I know a lot of people rate them as pure tripe in comparison to a thorough skincare routine, but I definitely notice a visible difference after using specific masks, (however short term the benefits may be). October was the month I discovered two STUN-HUN Guinot masks, both of which I’m now obsessed with – the Gommage Biologique Radiance Gel, and the Masque Hydra Beaute. The aforementioned is discussed more thoroughly here, whilst the Hydra Beaute mask must make do (for now!) with my mini review here!

Accessory wise, my Lucky Eyes London evil eye bracelet has (literally) NOT left my wrist. It’s absolute perfection, I’m obsessed. And along with it is my new Marc Jacobs watch, which has also been permanent arm candy of recent.

For more statement of jewels, my Betty and Biddy Enda Necklace has successfully blinged up many a jeans and black top evening! How fabulous is EVERYTHING on the B&B site?!

Finally, I’ve worn Nirvana Black literally 24/7 since the summer 2015 came to a close; it’s thee most perfect winter fragrance. Although it’s definitely a love/hate scent – I was out with a pal for drinks during the week who thought it was vile! Lolz. HAPPY HALLOWE’EN BABYDOLLS! xo
